Our students reached a significant milestone in the first chapter of their Tourism Management journey! Over the past weeks, they’ve worked diligently, designing tailor-made luxury travel packages for our commissioner, ViaLuxury.

This first project is all about Travel Experience Design. In a period of nine weeks, our students designed a detailed travel product tailored to the specific wishes, needs and preferences of a selected target group aligning the mission of the commissioner. The travel package must include overnight stays, engaging activities, transportation suggestions, food & beverage recommendations and tips for discovering hidden gems. 

We dived into the fundamental aspects of tourism, exploring the tourism system, various types of tourists, historical developments, and current industry trends. During this first project we focused on different skill sets such as resilience, research, socio-cultural understanding, sustainability, marketing and digital proficiency.

The final presentations, held in our beautiful Chapel, provided an inspiring setting that truly elevated each group’s showcase. A shout out to the outstanding groups who earned top honours from our commissioner.

We are heading to our next challenge, destination development!
