On 31 May, 1 and 2 June the international Consumer Behaviour in Tourism Symposium (CBTS 2023) will be hosted by the Academy for Tourism, organized in cooperation with the Faculty of Economics and Management and Free University of Bozen-Bolzano (Italy).

Symposium programme

As in the previous 14 editions, CBTS 2023 will provide yet another opportunity for tourism researchers and practitioners from all over the world to exchange scientific ideas and results and discuss new and emerging directions in research and practice in the field. Our Theme for CBTS is Tourism and Consumer Behaviour in a World of Disruption.

CBTS 2023 offers: 

•            Keynotes - by renowned international speakers
•            Workshops - on topics such as research methodology
•            Doctoral colloquium - for PhD students to present their work
•            Paper presentations - with peer-reviewed contributions
•            Best Paper Awards - offered by Journal of Vacation Marketing and International Journal of Hospitality &                 Tourism Management 
•            Industry speakers - on how the industry is facing up to the changes and challenges

Call for abstracts
The programme committee is inviting you to respond to the call for abstracts. Submission deadline is 1 March 2023. You can find more information on submitting your abstract here.

Registration for the symposium
Registration will open on 1 March 2023. The conference fee is €175.
