Other than preparing student for a life full of personal and professional development, BUas put ‘Connection to Industry’ centre stage. Our cooperation with TUI shows what that means in practice. Wesley Put is one of our account managers for strategic partners such as TUI, KLM, and NBTC. She is building sustainable partnerships that create value for everyone.

An example of such a partnership is the AI training programme that BUas has developed in conjunction with Eveline Vos, Laura Mooi, and Brit Haarmans for TUI staff in the Netherlands and Belgium. Because although AI technology seems accessible, many professionals still struggle with the question: how do I use this really smartly and responsibly in my work?

More than 45 employees from various departments at TUI attended a two-day hands-on training course in Breda. Led by Marenna van Reijsen from our AI pioneer team, they learned how to apply AI in a practical way in their daily work. The programme went beyond just technology: we also addressed barriers related to mindset and communication, and inspired participants to get started with innovation themselves.

This is what happens when education and the  business world collaborate with a shared goal: making organisations future-proof and making a real impact.
